Janhvi Kapoor breaks her silence after an AI-altered video crossed a disturbing line!! After Jr NTR condemned the AI-morphed version of their popular Chuttamalle song, Janhvi Kapoor has now issued a powerful statement against the misuse of technology to objectify women. Calling the creation and circulation of fictionalized content without consent “deeply violating” and “bordering on sexual assault,” Janhvi said that almost every woman in the entertainment industry has experienced some form of such exploitation. But she made it clear that this conversation is much bigger than one viral video.
Janhvi stressed that consent, choice and respect for a woman’s body are basic human principles. A woman agreeing to something previously does not remove her right to say no later. Her clothes also never give anyone permission to film inappropriate angles, manipulate her image or visually exploit her body.
The actress said women already live with constant judgement, unwanted attention and the daily pressure of protecting their boundaries. Now, that same threat has expanded into the digital world through AI, even before society has properly addressed the physical dangers women continue to face.
Jr NTR also strongly condemned the morphed video, calling it disgusting and shameful. He warned that every possible legal action would be taken against those responsible for creating and circulating it, while urging authorities to introduce stricter rules against AI misuse. "This is extremely disgusting, shameful, and condemnable. In a country where women are respected as mothers and goddesses, and 'Matru Devo Bhava' is part of our culture, some people are using AI to insult a woman in this manner."
